Software Engineer | Aspiring Game Developer
By day, I'm a software engineer in the fintech industry building robust, secure, and scalable systems. By night, I'm applying that knowledge to game loops and mechanics as I dive into indie game development.
I am very much a programmer first. My comfort zone is in the code: building tight systems, designing fun mechanics, and making things work under the hood. If a game needs complex logic, state machines, or intricate data management, I'm in my element.
I'll be the first to admit: I am not an art guy. I prefer to focus on the engineering side of game dev, but I am learning just enough pixel art to bring my prototypes to life. (If you see a shadowy Witch's Hand holding a heart floating around here... yes, that was my very first attempt at pixel art!). Expect heavy mechanics and charmingly rough "programmer art" while I learn the ropes.
I'm here to learn, build cool things, and translate my software engineering background into the world of game design. Feel free to play my projects and leave feedback especially if you manage to break my code!
